Platform Operation Guide

1. Register

    A. Enter HotOEM.com home page, click “Join free” at the upper-right corner.

    B. Fill in relevant information as required, and then click “Complete registration”.

    C. After switching to the page of “Congratulations on successful registration”, click “Verify the mailbox now”.

    D. Check the verification email in your mailbox, click “Complete email verification” button or the verification link in the   email to activate the account, and the registration is successfully completed.

    E. If you have already registered for more than 24 hours or didn’t receive the verification email, please log in and click      “Resend the verification email” button at the User Center to verify again.


2. Log in

    A. Click “Log in” at the upper-right corner of the HotOEM.com home page.

    B. Fill in the account, password and click “Log in” to log in.


3. Forgot the password?

    A. Click “Forgot the password?” in the log-in page to switch to the password retrieving interface.

    B. Fill in the registered email address and verification code, and click “Next”.

    C. Click “Activate via the mailbox”, check the email for password resetting sent by HotOEM.com, and click the “Set a  password” button or the link for password resetting in the email.

    D. Switch to the password resetting interface to reset a new password.


4. Complete the information

    A. Click the user avatar at the upper-right corner of the home page, and a drop-down menu will appear. Click any  column to enter the User Center.

    B. Click “Edit information” at the upper-right corner to edit user information.


5. Change password

    A. After logging in, enter the User Center, and click “Change password” on the right of the avatar.

    B. Fill in the current password and a new password, and click “OK” to complete changing the password.


6. Release procurement requirements

    A. You can find the buttons to release procurement requirements at the following locations: upper-right corner of the    home page, upper-right corner of User Center, search of products with no results displayed, supplier list page, supplier  showcase home page.

    B. Click the button, and fill in the detailed procurement requirements.

    C. Select the service object (suppliers or customer service personnel of HotOEM.com), confirm and submit it, to complete   the release.

    D. If you are interested in a specific supplier, you can initiate procurement requirements at the company column of the    supplier list or on the supplier’s showcase home page.


7. Procurement requirements management

    A. Click the user avatar at the upper-right corner of the home page, and a drop-down menu will appear. Then click    "Procurement Requirements” column to enter the procurement requirements list page.

    B. You can find requirements that have already been released in the search box.

    C. Click the title of the procurement requirements to see the details.

    D. Further consult or reply to the procurement requirements at the details page.

    E. The reply can be a plain text or attachment, and the attachment formats are as follows:

    Size: greater than 0k, no more than 20M

    Image format: jpg / gif / bmp / png

    Document format: doc/docx, xls/xlsx, ppt, pptx, TXT, PDF, chm

    Compression format: rar, zip


8. Release inquiries

    A. Click the products you want to consult to enter the product details page.

    B. Select “Contact Suppliers” or “Consult the Platform”.

    C.  Fill in the specific inquiry information to release.


9. Inquiry management

    A. Click the user avatar at the upper-right corner of the home page, and a drop-down menu will appear. Then click “Inquiry Management” column to enter the inquiry list page.

    B. You can find an inquiry that has already been released in the search box.

    C. Click the title of the inquiry to see the details.

    D. Further consult or reply to the inquiry at the details page.

    E. The reply can be a plain text or attachment, and the attachment formats are as follows:

    Size: greater than 0k, no more than 20M

    Image format: jpg / gif / bmp / png

    Document format: doc/docx, xls/xlsx, ppt, pptx, TXT, PDF, chm

    Compression format: rar, zip


10. Subscribe to product update information

    A. Click the user avatar at the upper-right corner of the home page, and a small menu will appear. Then click  “Subscription Management” column to enter the subscription list, and you can see the latest product information  released. Click the title of the information to view the product details. You can also give a score or release an inquiry  about the corresponding product.

    B. At the “Subscribed Categories” column, click “More Subscriptions” to edit the subscription category.


11. Product ratings

    A. The products can be rated or commented on the product details page, product subscription, product favorites, or the  list of products yet to be rated.

    B. The score will be an important reference value for the rating of the product, while the comment is visible to you and    the suppliers only.


12. Product favorites

    A. Click the “Add to Favorites” button below the product name on the product details page, to add the product to the  Favorites.

    B. After the product is added to the Favorites successfully, a reminder page will pop up. Click “View my favorite  products” to view them, or click the user avatar at the upper-right corner of the home page and then click “My  favorites” in the drop-down menu to view them.
